At The University of Health and Humanities we widely welcome transfer students and do everything in our power to help transfer students make an easy and smooth adjustment into joining our program!
Students may apply to The University of Health and Humanities, British Virgin Islands for transfer from any IMED, AVICENNA, or World Health Organization listed school, or accredited College of Medicine/Osteopathic Medicine. Evaluation of transcripts is done on an individual basis and will be thoroughly checked and evaluated through our admissions team. Students normally transfer previously completed coursework into the appropriate level of pre-clinical or clinical levels. The University of Health and Humanities, British Virgin Islands reserves the right to decline transfer credits of grade “C”, and will decline transfer credit of anything lower then a “C”. We also have the right to deny credits obtained through online coursework or other sources that have not been validated.
All transfer credits are evaluated under the guidelines established by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) of the U.S. prior to acceptance by The University of Health and Humanities, British Virgin Islands.
Although University of Health and Humanities School of Medicine is a fairly young program, we are extremely committed to helping students. We believe that our program is well equipped to help all students excel in their careers.
